Reach launch Strategic Plan 2025-2026

In December, Reach launched its new Strategic Plan for 2025-2026, which will guide the organisation's contributions to the global fight to prevent and control RHD in endemic regions over the next two years. RF/RHD overwhelmingly impacts children, teenagers, and young adults, with a significant number of RHD-related deaths occurring during the most productive years of life. The revised Strategic Plan will ensure that Reach’s work to support national and regional efforts is grounded in a sound and evidence-informed framework for action.

Support Recognition and Management of Rheumatic Fever in Primary Health Care Settings

The rheumatic fever (RF) algorithm was first developed as a decision tool for frontline healthcare workers. It is intended to support early diagnosis of RF in settings where rheumatic heart disease (RHD) is endemic.
